Carteret County Public Schools Names Principal of Beaufort Middle School

BEAUFORT, N.C. -- The Carteret County Public School System is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Brooke DePinto, currently of Wake County Public Schools, as the next Principal of Beaufort Middle School.

“Mrs. DePinto is an experienced middle school educator who clearly has a heart for service,” says Superintendent Dr. Rob Jackson. “Her background as an exceptional children’s teacher and as a counselor has given her a heart for helping.

During her interviews and in conversations with those who have worked with her, it became abundantly clear that Mrs. DePinto is the perfect choice to serve as Principal of Beaufort Middle School. Her deep knowledge of curriculum and instruction, along with her warm personality, will serve her well as she helps the school community continue to build on its tremendous foundation of success.”

A veteran educator of almost twenty years, Mrs. DePinto is a current assistant principal at Moore Square Magnet Middle School in Raleigh, NC, and has served there since 2015. She holds a Master of Arts in School Counseling as well as a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and School Administration from Appalachian State University. Mrs. DePinto also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication Studies degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has served at the middle school level as a school counselor and school administrator for the last fifteen years.

"I am truly honored to be chosen to lead and serve Beaufort Middle School,” said Mrs. DePinto. “My commitment is to work alongside this incredible community as we continue to grow and support each student. I am thrilled to join the Charger family!"

Ms. DePinto will join the staff of Beaufort Middle School staff in mid-March, depending on her release date from Wake County Public Schools.
