Information Regarding Behind-the-Wheel Training Schedules

Once students have completed their classroom instruction for Driver Education, they will be eligible to complete the behind-the-wheel training. It is the NC Driving School's goal to have all students complete their behind-the-wheel training within 90 days after completing the classroom instruction.

Students at each school are scheduled to drive based on their age, with the oldest students behind the wheel first. The youngest students should anticipate that their turn behind the wheel will be at the end of the 90 days. The parents of each student will receive a phone call from the instructor only after the student's name is at the top of the list for driving.

Special schedules are not made for those students not available when their turn becomes available. Parents or students whose schedules conflict with the available dates for driving may request to be included at the end of their group's list or added to the list after a future classroom instruction series has been completed.
