Meal Pre-Order Form

Good evening Carteret County Schools Families. Since we will be on Remote Learning Days for Tuesday, January 18th and Wednesday, January 19th, we are offering four meal pickup locations throughout the county. The meal box pickup will contain 1 breakfast and 2 lunches. In order to adequately prepare, all pickups must be pre-ordered. You can do this by visiting bit.ly/ccpsfeedskids or checking out our website for the QR and address. Pre-order forms must be submitted no later than Sunday, January 16, 2022 at 2:00pm. Stuff the Bus Event
The Carteret County Stuff the Bus event is coming up. Thanks to our community partners for making this event possible. The distribution day is at Parkview Baptist Church in Morehead City on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 8-11am.

Remote Learning/Remote Work Day Friday Jan 21, 2022
Due to the wintery weather and forecasted hazardous conditions, CCPS will be operating on a Remote Learning/Remote Work Day on Friday, January 21, 2022, for the safety of our students, staff and families. Staff and families should not report to school or administrative buildings and will learn and work remotely out of precaution. Please continue to stay safe.

New Director of Student Support Services Named
BEAUFORT, N.C. – The Carteret County Public School System is pleased to announce that Ms. Kim Krohn, current Assistant Principal at Croatan High School, has been named Director of Student Support Services. Ms. Krohn has experience as a teacher, a school counselor, and an assistant principal and worked as an educator in Lynchburg, VA, prior to joining CCPS in 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Lynchburg College. She also holds a Master of School Administration degree from East Carolina University.

Carteret County Public Schools Receives $1.93 Million in Needs-Based School Construction Grant
BEAUFORT, N.C. -- The Carteret County Public School System was recently awarded $1.93 million in state funding from nearly $400 Million awarded to schools across the state in needs-based school construction grants. Dr. Rob Jackson, Superintendent, and Mr. Richie Paylor, Assistant Superintendent of Carteret County Public Schools attended a reception in Raleigh on May 12, 2022, where grant recipients from across the state were honored.
