CYB ER UPDATES
🚨 Important CCPS Cybersecurity Update – Canvas Services Suspended 🚨

Carteret County Public Schools has now received direct confirmation from Instructure, the parent company of Canvas, that our district was among institutions impacted in the recent national cybersecurity incident.

Students, staff, and parents should NOT attempt to access Canvas through:
• Web browsers
• The Canvas mobile app
• NCVPS or off-campus Canvas courses

Our technology team is working alongside state cybersecurity experts to evaluate the situation and protect district data. While Canvas access is temporarily unavailable, teaching and learning will continue across CCPS.

We appreciate your patience and partnership as we prioritize the security of our students, staff, and systems.
