Carteret County Public Schools is proud of the many students who represent us each year through the Special Olympics. Currently, the local program offers Bocce and Bowling, but they have an exciting plan to grow!
Special Olympics Carteret County is working to launch a year-round sports calendar—adding everything from kayaking and swimming to flag football and skiing. Because they are a volunteer-led organization, they are reaching out to the community for support.
How you can help: The program is looking for coaches, volunteers, and local sponsors to help provide these new opportunities at no cost to the athletes or their families.
