The Carteret County Public School System continues to work with the National Weather Service and Carteret County Emergency Services to monitor frigid temperatures and travel conditions following heavy snow accumulation this past weekend.Carteret County Public Schools will be operating under the following conditions-
Friday, February 6th, 2026, will be remote workdays for all staff, and remote learning days for students.
All extracurricular and athletic activities remain cancelled until further notice.
All schools and CCPS buildings remain closed until conditions improve.
