     Welcome to a new school year.  We have gotten off to a fast and furious start and have many exciting things happening this year.  One of those being PBS (Positive Behavior Support).   Around the school you will see matrices which focus on Responsibility and Respect.  Rules for classroom, cafeteria, bus, and soon, forthcoming,  playground behavior are posted beside those expectations.  Please read these as you walk throughout our school and reinforce the rules at home to help your child  be successful at school.   Classroom teachers have modeled the rules to show students what the rules look like in school.  The behavior is reinforced in the classroom and when these behaviors are seen in the hallways, cafeteria, or other parts of the school, it could possibly mean that the student will receive and A+ Green sticker.  One of these stickers will be given to the student to wear and the other to post on the graph just outside the cafeteria.  We are already seeing the positive affects of this initiative and know, with your help, it will continue throughout the year.
