Welcome to White Oak
Elementary, Home of the Wildcats, website. We hope that as your
browse through our site that you find answers to questions you might
have about our school. We are proud to be recognized as a 2009-2010
School of Distinction, and have met our Annual Yearly Progress Goals.
Our goal is to
establish positive relationships with our students that motivate
them to their highest potential. We invite you as parents, family,
and friends to help your student on this journey. In order to help
your student meet his/her potential, we offer the following
suggestions:
Have your
student at school every day on time. This helps him/her to start
the day on a positive note and reduce lapses in instruction.
PLEASE NOTE THE FIRST BELL RINGS AT 7:55 AND THE TARDY BELL RINGS
AT 8:00.
Please keep in
communication with your child’s teacher through the agenda or
e-mail. If you call, the office will put you through to the
teacher’s voice mail. The teacher will return our call.
Homework that is
sent home is to help reinforce the classroom activities.
We also ask that
you keep us updated on changes in home address, phone numbers, and
medical information for the safety and welfare of your child.
Know that we are
here to help your child learn and by working together, we can ensure
this happens.
We invite you to
participate in our school activities and this information can be
found in other areas of our website.
