Table Talk, from the White Oak Elementary Cafeteria

Economics” has been the buzz word lately. Government, business, and households alike have felt the money crunch. Our school cafeteria is no different, yet we will not sacrifice good nutrition for our children. We are more determined than ever to bring a variety of healthy, balanced, and delicious meals to the table!

When children eat school lunch, they are more

likely to consume milk, meats, grains and vegetables

compared to students who don’t, including

students who bring lunch from home.

They also have higher nutrient intakes — both

at lunch and over the course of an entire day.

Cost-wise, school lunch is at a great value as

a typical school lunch contains an entree, two

servings of fruits and vegetables, a grain item

and milk. From children to parents to teachers,

everyone benefits when kids eat school lunch!

Our own school meals are a great value, priced at $2.00 for a complete lunch and only $1.00 for breakfast!

Let us cater your child’s birthday or classroom party at school! We can deliver warm cookies, prepare cupcakes, or even set up a pizza party in the classroom for you. Parents please coordinate this with the teacher first.
