Lunch Room Expectations 

Since our enrollment has increased, we have had to purchase lunch tables to accommodate the increased numbers.  It therefore became necessary to remove the booths at which parents used to sit with their children.   

Parents are welcome to have lunch with their student at the class lunch table but we ask that they abide by the 10 min. silent lunch rule while sitting at the lunch table.   

Students will eat without talking for the first 10 minutes of their lunch period.  The monitor will turn the red cup to green after the 10 minutes at which time the students may talk quietly with their table mates.   

Allowing 10 minutes of quiet time for lunch will enable students to eat without rushing and still allow for social time. 

During nice weather, parents are welcome to eat with their student in the courtyard.  We ask that you be sure to clean your area before you leave.
