and adults at White Oak Elementary School joined millions of
Americans across the Country as they celebrated reading. This day is known as Read Across America Day; it is also known as White Oak Elementary School’s Annual Read-In. |

Many visitors and guests read with students throughout the morning. Elected officials, school system personnel, fire fighters and police officers, dedicated parents and volunteers were all on hand to join in the celebration. There was even a cat or two, as well. |
