WEST CARTERET BAND BOOSTERS, INC.
The band boosters provide for the students financially and they also provide materials necessary for a highly competitive band and colorguard program. Their services include chaperoning trips, organizing and fitting the uniforms, sewing flags, building props, driving buses and equipment vehicles, solving logistical problems, providing financial support through fund raising activities, and numerous other major and minor tasks.
This organization is not one that makes policy, disciplines students, or decides expenditures. That is the role of the band director, his principal and the school system’s administration.
We simply cannot operate the band without your support. All parents are invited to become members of the Band Boosters. Meetings are at the school at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each school month beginning in August.
