In accordance with state
and local policies, school bus transportation is available to all
eligible students who attend Carteret County Schools. Generally, buses travel on
state or municipal maintained roads and serve students living at least
one and a half miles or more from school. However, individual exceptions
can be made based on student's age and safety factors. For more
