The senior project may prove
to be the convergence field for new literacy, enhanced research, IMPACT,
and project-based learning. Here is the link to info on the senior
project. Explore this site. We will have to design
backwards from the culminating presentation to determine what literacy,
organization, and technology skills should be taught....and when
they should be taught.
A small leadership group
will travel to Asheville this summer for Senior Project training.
From there, we will have to debrief with the larger group. Then,
we will spend a year building our dreams, making our plans, and
transforming the educational realities for the freshman class of
2006...and all classes thereafter.
