Web Keepers is an initiative of the Carteret County Public School System to enhance the district and individual school websites.  As such, the project has to be viewed as an expansive work in progress.  To the best of our abilities, we should strive to keep the emphasis on progress.

This summer the project will be expanded to include media web sites.  Media Coordinators in the district will be trained in creating and maintaining media webs.  So far this school year, our meetings have focused on content for media webs; this summer, the training will be more technical with Front Page being the authoring tool of choice.

This web site will expand between now and this summer to include links to the vast resources alluded to in the navigation bar to the left.  This site is intended as a guide and resource to help our sixteen media coordinators build their media webs.
