- Math book and knowledge from previous Math lessons in the
classroom
- Computer
- Desktop publishing software
- Printer
Pre Activities
The students have gone through the Geometry
unit in the classroom, have had computer lessons on the drawing and
paint tools in AppleWorks and have gone over desktop publishing
skills and its terms.
Activities
- Review desktop publishing terms: style, font, size, color,
tools and skills used.
- Students choose a geometry term and shape.
- Students word process the the term, define it, create
the geometry shape on the computer a then included it with the
definition.
- Students display their writings on the bulletin board.
