Students take notes on what they need to research. They went to the media center to check out books, learn to take notes and how to create citations. They answer questions like, "What event(s) in the President or Noted Black American's life lead to their accomplishments". | ||

| Students viewed "A Night at the Museum" movie trailer before starting their online research. They need enough background information on their famous person to be able to make their character come alive. They will create a PowerPoint, dress as their character and present their famous person using props and scenery. | |||||

| Teachers show United Streaming Video Clip on their TVs or projection screen of Martin Luther King, Jr's "I have a Dream" speech. Then they facilitated school wide Paideia seminars. This school school wide seminar addressed our January character education trait, self-discipline. |
