Reminders:
Remember to read your child's library book every
night. Here are some things to do with the story:

When not reading the library book, please keep
it in the bag and keep the bag in a safe place so that it will not
get lost.
Lost books prevent your child from
getting a new one each week and cost money.

Monday
– Just read and enjoy the story together.

Tuesday
–Read and talk about the pictures. What do you see? What do you like
about the pictures? What type of pictures are they?

Wednesday
– Read and ask questions about the story. Who is it about?
What character do you like? What do you
like about the story? What is your favorite part? What happened
first?
What happened next?

Thursday
– Encourage your child to tell the story by looking at the pictures.

Send your child’s book in the bag and send it
to school on Fridays.
If we get the books on Friday, we can
return them and Ms. Norma will be able to check out new ones for the
following Monday.
If it is not returned by Friday, please
send it in as soon as possible.

Most important – Enjoy spending time together reading!
We go outside everyday. Please make sure that
your child has a jacket every day.
Please send a note if your child will go home a
different way than normal.
If you have a change in phone number or address,
please let us know as soon as possible.
