Spelling Homework for the Week of September 22nd

Monday: Cut out the word cards and practice saying and writing the words.

Tuesday: Cut out the individual letter cards and put them together to spell this week's words.

Wednesday: Put word cards together to create sentences or phrases. Practice writing and spelling the sentences. Ex. I see a big cat. The hat is big. A cat is at the mat.

Thursday:  Take a test and rewrite misspelled words 3 times.

Reading Homework

Monday-    Read the story or poem 2 times.

Tuesday-    Reread the story or poem and talk about what happens in the story.

Thursday-   Reread the story and talk about what happened in the story.

                  Return the book on Friday morning.
