success of our band program depends upon individual contributions
from each and every student. It is absolutely vital that each student
practices at home at least 100 minutes weekly (20 minutes each weekday
evening). Practice is best achieved in short sessions spread out
throughout the week rather than all at one time the night before a test.
There is no substitute for regular practice outside of the classroom in
assuring a successful and productive band program. The next time your student
comes home without their instrument, ask why and see to it that they bring
their instrument home daily. We are both partners in a quality music
education for your student. In
conclusion, please feel free to contact your band director at any time if you have questions
or concerns about your student’s progress. Our number one goal is to provide
