The computer lab within the media center will be used this year for several different learning programs and uses. The Accelerated Reader program for students to take A/R tests on books they have read.  The STAR testing program which is used to determine a student's reading level, reading level grade equivalent, and ZPD range (the level of books in a range best suited for the student's reading ability). The TTL (type to learn program) which is a series of exercises in instructing students on correct typing rules, positioning of hands and fingers, speed and accuracy.  Study Island which is a web based program and used in many different grades and subject areas. The computer lab will also be utilized for research and micro soft office programs such as word and power point.
