One Of the Counselors Holding a Fiddler Crab

The First Day
On the first day we went to the Rachel Carson Estuarine Research reserve and saw the horses. The Rachel Carson Reserve is 21,000 acres in size.  We learned about the history of the Rachel Carson Reserve.  We also learned about the arguments over trawling and its effects on the estuaries.  Some of the things we learned about when we went trawling were the pros and cons of trawling. We learned about the by catch, environment, turbidity, and all sorts of other thing about trawling.
