Upcoming events:
Agendas are a very important tool in helping students to be successful in school. Each core teacher is to sign each student's agenda each day. So, students, if a teacher forgets to sign your agenda, ask them to sign your agenda. Parents, we also ask that you check and sign your child's agenda each day.
In addition to use the agenda to help students be better organized, students will also be recording one of their goals for this school year in the agenda. Each week, students are to write "I am going to grow at least five points on my EOG'S". This will help to remind students that just scoring a level 3 or 4 is not enough, growth is just as important.
This year, Mr. Ross will again be offering the A=0 challenge. The A is acceptable growth on the math and reading EOG. The Zero is no hair for Mr. Ross. The challenge is if EACH goose student shows acceptable growth on the reading and math EOG, we will have a shave Mr. Ross party the last day of school. Mr. Ross will shave his head and beard. The before picture is below. What will the after picture be? It is up to you, students, to decide is the after will have Mr. Ross still hairy and bearded or bald and beardless.
