Weekly Lesson Plans

Weeks of December 1- 19

Algebra1-  We will continue studying lines from now until Christmas.  We will test on Ch 5 before the Christmas break.  Students need to bring a ruler and graph paper to class each day.

8th grade math-  We will begin Ch 5 on Applications of Proportions on Dec .  Students will begin by studying  ratios and rates.  They will then practice choosing and converting units and applying these to word problems.  The next week we will work with similar figures, scale models and indirect measurement.  I plan to test on Ch 5 before Christmas break.
