Cores 1
and 4 will begin a novel study of Gary Paulsen's, Hatchet.
We will watch a video on the geography of Canada to acquaint
students with the setting of the book, the Canadian
wilderness. Students will write from a prompt about
being stranded in the Canadian wilderness, what their
greatest challenge would be, and how they would meet that
challenge.

Chapter 4. This includes: Divisibility
Rules and Application, Prime and Composite Numbers,
Factoring, Prime Factorization, Greatest Common
Factor, Decimals and Fractions, Mixed Numbers,
Equivalent Fractions, and Ordering and Comparing
Fractions. Test on Friday. STUDY!!!!
