After completing a self assessment of my competence with various types of software, hardware, and web resources, I determined that Presentation Software, the Electronic Calendar, the Digital Camera and familiarity with the NCDPI Website were the areas in which I needed to improve.  Presentation software will help me as an administrator more effectively communicate with my staff and faculty.  I will be able to present ideas and information clearly and concisely.  The Electronic Calendar will help keep my administrative duties organized as well as creating a system for school wide use to facilitate the scheduling of all events.  The Digital Camera provides a means of documenting information that is not permanent in nature.  Finally, a familiarity with the NCDPI Website will provide the means to stay up to date on issues affecting education across the state.
