Withdrawal Process

Please contact your child's guidance counselor at least 2 days prior to your child's last day at Newport Middle School.  Please inform your child's counselor of the date of the withdrawal and the name of the new school.  On your child's last day, your child will need to come to the guidance office to pick up a withdrawal form to take to all of their teachers for signatures and their withdrawal grades.  At the end of the day, the withdrawal form will be copied by his/her counselor.  Then, the student will take the original form to their new school to help speed up the registration process at the new school.
