Enrollment Process

The enrollment process at Newport Middle School can be a quick and easy one.  Parents should call ahead and schedule an appointment with the appropriate counselor based on grade level.  Please come prepared with below information to help make it a smooth transition:

• birth certificate

• proof of residency in Newport Middle school area

• withdrawal form from previous school

• immunization record

• report card/ current grades

• contact information of previous school

We always ask that parents be at NMS before noon to complete the enrollment packet. This way their student may begin the following school day.  Please come prepared to spend 30-45 minutes completing paperwork and meeting with your child's counselor to discuss the scheduling process and NMS procedures.
