TERRIFIC Kids program

"Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. Students work with their classroom teacher and establish goals to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or schoolwork."   (Taken from TERRIFIC kids website: http://www.kkids.org/tk/The program is sponsored by the Kiwanis organization.

    The fourth graders at Newport Elementary are participating in this program this year.  The first awards were given out on Wednesday, November 7, 2007.  Congratulations to all of our TERRIFIC Kids!  Keep building the wonderful personal traits that make you so terrific!
