Bright Ideas Grant

 Title 1 reading specialists are proud to be recipients of a Bright Ideas Grant. Soon we will be sending home celebrity bookbags with your children.  Inside are some tapes that have been made by some very important people.  Our mayor, doctors, lawyers, our principal, our Superintendent  and  many other people were so happy to make these tape recordings for only our children at Newport school.  We hope you and your child will enjoy listening to the "celebrities" reading one of their favorite stories.  I hope you will take the opportunity to discuss with your child the person reading and their job in our community.  We also hope you will thank that special "celebrity" for taking this time for our children. After your child has enjoyed the book and tape for the weekend please return it so we can send it home with another child that is waiting anxiously to take home a celebrity bookbag.
