Spelling

Monday: Write all words 1-20 four times each

Tuesday:  Review spelling words and their meanings

Wednesday:  Study for Tomorrow's Spelling Test

Thursday: Spelling Test Today

Fridays: None

*These words will be mixed up for the test*

Reading

*This week, we will be reading: Mom's Best Friend

Skill Learned: Monitor and Clarify

**Reading logs are due each Friday. These papers must be signed with proof that your child read at least one hour each week.

Writing

**Each week, we start a new writing assignment. We are beginning Expository Writing this nine weeks! This is all brand new to all students.

**This week our Writing Topic is: We will focus on daily Writing Grades until we are ready to write a full story.

**All writing assignments are due Friday at the beginning of class. If your child finishes his or her assignment at the end of class on Thursday, they don't have homework Thursday night!

****Please Remember to sign your child's agenda each Wednesday and sign your child's behavior/homework folder each Thursday night!!! ****
