Homework

Students are expected to read their accelerated reader for fifteen minutes every night and complete their reading log.

Homework Policy

All students are expected to turn in daily homework assignments. Missing assignments will results in the consequences below:

Missing assignments can not be completed during class.
When a student has missed homework assignments they will lose Honorable Hawk points: 1-2 missed loses 3 points, 3-4 missed loses 5 points, and more than 4 missed loses all 8 points.
After three missing assignments parents need to conference with teacher to develop an intervention plan.
Students may be assigned 45 minutes of on task homework per night.
