Math in the Morning

    Many students come into the lab with Mrs. Denney between 7:30 and 8:00 AM to work on their basic math facts.  They learn 2 or 3 focus facts each morning and then play a game to reinforce their learning.  The goal is to know all addition, subtraction, multiplication or division facts in less than a second each.  Knowing their basic facts enables children to focus on problem solving at higher levels without getting tripped up on the basics.
