WEATHER VISITOR

    Meteorologist Skip Waters, from Channel 12 in New Bern, came to Newport Elementary School and gave a presentation on the making of weather to the fifth grade classes.  Using student volunteers and lots of energy and vitality, Mr. Skip made the weather come alive.  Some students even felt the rain from his cloud!
