Five Themes Country Wheel

Instructions for front wheel.

1. Both common and official name of the country.

2. Capital of the country.

3. Flag of country. May be drawn or printed from the internet.

4. At least 3 pictures that represent something significant about the country.

(Pictures may be drawn, cut out from magazines, or printed from the internet and must be labeled.

Instructions for back wheel.

1. Location wedge - Gives both absolute and relative locations of country.

2. Place wedge - Physical Features - Lists at least 5 physical features and has 1 picture.

3. Place wedge - Cultural Features - Lists at least 5 cultural features and has 1 picture.

4. Interaction wedge - Gives two examples of adaptation to the environment and two examples of modifications to the environment with at least 1 picture.

5. Movement wedge – Has pictures of at least 2 imports and 2 exports of the country with labels.

6. Region wedge – Names at least two regions within the country and at least two regions in which the country is included.
