The Red Machine was in a hard fought battle with Pamlico till the
fourth quarter. At the beginning of the fourth it was 14 to 22, but
in the fourth we ran out of gas and lost 20 to 42. The team finished
the year with a 3 and 3 record overall and a conference record of 3
and 2.
The offensive was led in scoring by Daniel Hodges with two TDs and
Matt Padgett add one TD in the fourth to round out the scoring.
Defensively, the team played hard but the speed of Pamlico proved to
be to much.
I want to thank all the staff, students and parents that have come
out and supported the team this year. It was greatly appreciated.
The coaches are very proud of you guys, you did an awesome job!!
Coaches will start collecting CLEAN equipment today after school
upstairs in the equipment room. Players get all of your belongings
out of the locker-room ASAP.
