Driving directions to Arapahoe, Pamlico, Smyrna and Harker`s Island (courtesy of Ms Davis). Pamlico Middle and Arapahoe Charter Take the Cherry Branch-Minnesott Beach ferry. Follow the road passing Camp Don Lee—Arapahoe Charter School will be on your right in the community of Arapahoe. Continue on this road passing Pamlico community College. At the stop light, turn right onto Hwy 55 East toward Bayboro-Oriental. After passing Pamlico High School you will approach an intersection; bear to the right as you would if you were going to Oriental. There will be a convenient store on your left. Go over the bridge and the school will be on your right Arapahoe plays baseball and softball in Bayboro- Take 70W to 17 and cross the river- Bayboro Exit.  Follow 55 all the way into Bayboro past Food Lion.  Take a Right onto the first paved road on the right after Hardee's - Ireland Ave and the fields will be there on the right.   Harkers Island Elementary School Take Hwy 70 through Beaufort heading toward East Carteret High School. At East Carteret corner Hwy 70 turns right. Turn right onto Hwy 70. You will cross two bridges. After you cross the second bridge, you will be in Otway. As you proceed through Otway you will go around a sharp curve. Shortly after the curve, you will come up on Harkers Island Road. You can only turn right onto this road. There will be a convenient store on your right and Wheatly Bros. shop on your left when you turn. Proceed across the Harkers Island bridge. Once you cross the bridge the road name will change to Island Road. Stay on Island Road. The school will be approximately half way down the island on your left hand side. Smyrna Elementary School and Eastern Park Take Hwy. 70 through Beaufort heading toward East Carteret High School. At East Carteret corner Hwy 70 turns right. Turn right onto Hwy 70. Stay on Hwy. 70 until you come to a stop sign. There will be a convenient store on your left. The G&R Grocery will be in front of you. Bear to the right onto Marshallberg Road. The school is a short distance on your right.  To get to Eastern Park turn left instead of bearing to the right and the park is a little ways on the right side.
