MES Advisory Meeting

October 2, 2007

Attendance:  Lucy Rixey, Karen Carter, Kevin Bell, Faye Smith, Beth Davis, Melissa Gosnell, Jeff Garner, Rita Mullins, Susan Turnage

 Mrs. Perri came in and discussed computers and lap tops to be arriving at school. We have 10 focus projectors for the teachers.  PTO has decided to buy 4 more for the remaining teachers.

 Beth Davis went over the upcoming events such as the Fall Festival.

 Mrs. Mullins discussed the Tar Heel Junior Historians.  Twenty five children will be participating.

MES will be doing Relay For Life this year (goal - $1,000.00)/ Will have a spring dance for 4^th and 5^th grade students to help raise money for this event.

 Mrs. Mullins went over ABC Summary.

 Jo Lynn Wade came in and discussed MES – EOG testing and challenges.

Meeting dismissed.  Next meeting well be held Nov. 5, 2007 at 12:00.
