Repair Mechanic
Schedule: Full Time - 12
MONTHS Responsibilities: · Work related activities include but are not limited to: Rough and finish carpentry; painting; roof repairs; gutter repairs; repairing/replacing doors, windows and associated hardware; installing/replacing lay-in ceilings; replacing flooring (VCT, vinyl sheet goods, wood), etc. · Assumes responsibility for general conditions of buildings and grounds trade area by the practice of recognized maintenance, repair and construction methods of the trades. · Supervises work of lower grade mechanics and may supervise contractors of the trade area working for the school system. · Uses and cares for tools of the trade; troubleshoot and repair trade related systems, equipment and/or components; and performs work from trade related blueprints, schematic diagrams, sketches and work orders. · Maintains a valid North Carolina driver’s license. · Is physically able to perform manual tasks such as lifting and carrying at least 50 lbs., climb ladders and scaffolds, work in building crawl spaces, etc.
Position: Warehouseman /
Delivery Driver
Schedule: Full Time - 12
MONTHS Responsibilities: · Maintains a valid North Carolina driver’s license and has clean driving record. · Is physically able to perform manual tasks such as lifting and carrying at least 70 lbs., climb ladders and scaffolds, work in non-climate controlled warehouse, etc. · Drives daily delivery route; drives and inspects forklift, delivery trucks and trailer towing; Must know how to drive vehicles with manual transmissions. · Receives, stores, inventories, and rotates stock; · Ensures delivery of goods and equipment to & from schools; Moves & delivers furniture; · May use computerized inventory control system; · May assist with the repair of custodial equipment;
