Our week is almost over…don’t forget that tomorrow is show and tell day!

**Our fall celebration party is Monday, October 31st at 10:00. Remember NO COSTUMES!

**Monday is also an early release day!!

**Everyone needs to fill out the federal form and return them tomorrow!

WE’RE GOING ON A FIELD TRIP…

Our next field trip will be on Wednesday, November 9^th. On this day we will be traveling to Beaufort. Our first stop will be the Public Library where we will take a tour and learn how to get a library card. Then we will visit the Beaufort Historical Society to participate in Kindergarten Thanksgiving. During our visit we will learn more about how people lived long ago before electricity. Our final stop will be Burger King for lunch. I will send home the official permission slip soon.

This is what we did today…

…We had morning group time. Today we all read our pumpkin poem then some of our students read it for us. Then we reread the book Pumpkin, Pumpkin. After reading the book we had to put some pictures in order to show what happened in the story. Miss Renee also read the book The Runaway Pumpkin to us.

…We went to breakfast and PE.

…We had reading groups. Some of us completed a P picture sort and some of us competed a rhyming review sheet.

…We completed a sequencing activity that showed how a pumpkin grows.

…We had music.

…We went to centers.

…We went to lunch.

…After lunch we completed our calendar board. Today we learned a song that will help learn the days of the week.

…Miss Lisa did a math lesson with us. We learned how to add.

…We had recess and rest.

…Reread the book Farm Friends. Also read your Fall book to your family.
