With only a few more days left in January...I feel it's about time that I get some new pictures up for everyone to enjoy.

January has been a busy month here in kindergarten and we have completed many activities...some of which I will share with you!  All month we have been focusing on winter and winter topics such as snow.

This is one of our winter bulletin boards.  We spent several lessons reading and rereading about our snowman.

Of course when we started our unit, it didn't feel much like winter here on the Crystal Coast.  During the month, however, we have had some truly cold winter days.  The  changes in temperature has given us the chance to use the thermometer and see how the red line rises when it is hot and goes down when it is cold.

Although it did very cold,  we have unfortunately not had any of the white stuff:(  Even though we haven't had the pleasure of making a real snowman, the kindergarten kids have had lots of practice in drawing and painting a few!

Here are some we painted
in art with Mr. Bob!

UPDATED 2/2/05

This month we celebrated the
100th Day of School.

We had fun doing lots of activities that focused on 100.  Together we made a design using 100 pattern blocks, we completed two writing activities, counted to 100, measured out 100 blocks and made a 100 day snack!  It was a busy day working with a big number:)
