Kindergarten Visits the

Fire Station!!!

As a part of our unit on Fire Safety, our class visited the local fire station.  It was a  very interesting field trip...

We had lots of fun and learned a lot about what firefighters do to
help keep us safe!

       

At the fire station we got to try on a uniform.  It was big and very heavy.

During our visit we also got to sit in the ambulance...

and in the fire truck...

Some of the firefighters told us about the special
tools they have to use when helping out at an accident.

We all looked on with anticipation as the firefighters demonstrated how the tools work!

We even got to spray the fire hose! 

WHAT FUN:)

Maybe we will be firefighters one day...
