It was the month of February and all through our classroom,
Hearts of pink, red and purple could be found in full bloom.

Early in the month, we got a special treat,
Ilyse and her mama made us a heart cake to eat!

The children were busy with cutting and pasting,
For Miss Renee knew that time was a wasting.

We started our quilt and tried to finish it quick,
But there are still missing pieces because so many are out sick:(

Even Miss Eugenia had to spend a few days at home,
Yet, she still made us these Valentine's holders to brighten our room.

For our back bulletin board, oh what could we do?
How about some cute heart-shaped animals...butterflies, elephants, puppies and a kitty cat too!

Let's not forget about our writing which focused on beginning consonant sounds,
On one bulletin board, these LOVE sentences can be found...

Now our room is ready and we're waiting for Valentine's Day to come,
Then Miss Renee will add more pictures of our February Fun!
