In mid November our class took a field trip to Beaufort to visit the library and the historical society.  It was a windy day but thank goodness the weather held out for our trip.

At the library Mrs. Sarah gave us a tour and showed us all the neat books that we could check out from the library..  There were lots and lots of books to look at.

Then she took us in her special room and we sang a silly beanbag song...

and a song about letters...

After our tour of the library, we went to the historical society to learn about life long ago.

Here are some pictures from our trip.

We learned about making butter and got to experience life as a colonial child who would have to milk the cow and fetch water.

We enjoyed our field trip...and can't wait until our next one:)
