2010 Brad Sneeden
Marine Science Academy Presentation posted
The Brad
Sneeden Marine Science Academy took place June 14-18, 2010, and included rising seventh, eighth and ninth graders. This
annual event is a fast-paced, week-long day camp.
Students are active every day and involved in hands-on
activities such as trawling from a boat, conducting field research on a
barrier island, learning about aquaculture and setting up experiments.
Students also work with remotely operated vehicles, dissections,
GPS systems and technology. While all these activities take place,
students learn about and observe the many careers in the marine
sciences.
