Cougar Quiz Bowl Team is a competitive team of students who like to recall knowledge from a wide range of areas, including all academic areas, sports, entertainment, current events, and the occasional miscellaneous bit of trivia.

Cougar Quiz Bowl Team is sponsored by Croatan High School Media Center.  The team practices in the media center Thursday afternoon from 2:45 to 3:30.

Monthly matches are held during the school year with East Carteret High School and West Carteret High School.  The matches are taped at the Time Warner studio and then televised several times the following month.  The 2001-2002 schedule of matches for Croatan High School Quiz Bowl Team:
