  • Ask for assistance when you can't locate an item you need.
    Check-out
  • Materials are checked out and in at the circulation counter.
  • All media center patrons (users) have a number to use when checking materials out of the media center.  A student's media center number is the same as his/her food service number.
    Materials Available for Check-out
  • Non-fiction books which are not in the reference collection and fiction books have a two-week loan period and can be renewed for an additional two weeks unless another patron has requested the book.
  • Reference books are to be used in the media center, but may be checked out "Overnight" to be returned by 7:45 the next morning.  You must have permission from the media coordinator to check out a book for "Overnight" loan.
  • Video cassettes may be checked out by students to use for research.  There is a one-week loan on video cassettes.
  • Audio cassettes may be checked out by students for a one-week loan period.
    Number of Materials
  • Students are allowed to have three items checked out of the media center.  Special permission to have additional items checked out will be given to students who need the materials for reserach purposes.
    Magazines and Newspapers
  • Current issues of magazines and newspapers are to be used in the media center.  Special permission must be given by the media coordinator for these items to be checked out of the media center.
  • Back issues of magazines may be checked out for three days.
  • Back issues of newspapers will be given to patrons on a first come-first serve basis.
