Hello and welcome to Mr. Yount's web page. Croatan High School is a special place for students and teachers. My experience here has been very rewarding. Croatan High School is a great place to teach and learn. I have taught at Hickory High School in Hickory, N.C. and at John Motley Morehead High School in Eden, N.C. I am a graduate of Hickory High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Science Secondary Education at Appalachian State University. I have a Masters degree in Social Studies Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am a National Board Certified teacher as well. I am anticipating a productive and successful year at Croatan and look forward to meeting you.
