PERSONAL INFORMATION:

I am a native of Carteret County and reside in Radford Estates with my husband of 34 years, Scott. He also works at our school with child nutrition.  Our 26 year old twin daughters, Allison and Ashley, are Class of 2003 graduates from Croatan High School and  are magna cum laude graduates of East Carolina University, my alma mater.

Educational endeavors are still ongoing for both of the girls. Ashley is a member of the Class of 2011 at  NCSU's  College of Veterinary Medicine. She has loved animals all her life and  she is in her last year! She graduates May 2011 after 8 years in college.  Check her out at the CVM Class link (She is the first person on the rotating picture feature, "Ashley on her horse, Rachel"!): http://www.cvm.ncsu.edu/class/2011/   Ashley is married to Tim, a  corporal in the United States Marine Corps.  Here's a crazy fact: they met on Craig's List! She was married at Fort Macon on August 2, 2008.

Allison is married, also. Her husband, Nate, is a fine man who is an Indiana  conservation officer. Can you believe they met at spring break at Panama Beach, Fla?  He stole her heart, whisked her away from the NC Crystal Coast and they happily live in Vallonia, Indiana.   Allison has just enrolled in Indiana University for her  Masters degree in Social Work.   Allison has several wonderful pets, one named Henry...would that mean he is my grand-dog? He sure is cute! Check out this video she posted on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E80tVXgoXRM

For my free time, I like to do lots of things.   I like to read.  Golfing and gardening are fun.  I LOVE to go out on the jetski and enjoy the water. Messing on the computer or  just vegging on the couch watching TV are fun.  Walking and going to the gym are some favorite things to do, too.  I enjoy housekeeping and cooking.
