English IV

Journals are used daily to begin class. Grammar will follow journals.

Vocabulary is done weekly and consists of two lessons per week.  Vocabulary quizzes will be every Friday.

Week One: Introduction to class, introduction to Anglo-Saxons, Beowulf.

Week Two: Assign Grendel and The Seafarer.

Week Three: Finish Grendel.

Week Four: Grendel test. Introduction to the Middle Ages.
