Hello, I'm Patrick Blackstock, a Social Studies teacher here at Croatan High School.  My twenty-fourth year of teaching (and seventh at CHS) will include teaching United States History and Honors United States History.  Additionally, I will teach Advanced Placement U.S. History with Mr. Perry; I will teach the first semester and he will teach the second semester.  I am also the assistant girls' soccer coach in the spring.

• head coach of boys track (12 yrs.), boys/girls cross country (2 yrs.) & boys jv soccer (3 yrs.) at Havelock High
• asst. coach of jv football (5 yrs.) and boys varsity basketball (13 yrs.) at Havelock High
• head boys soccer coach at Croatan (1999-2005); head girls soccer coach (2005-2007); asst. girls soccer coach (2000-2003); head girls varsity basketball coach (2003-2004 thru 2005-2006)
• taught Advanced Placement U.S. History for eight years at Havelock and for three years at Croatan High 
• wife Carol teaches Biology and AP Biology at Havelock High School
• daughter attends college and son attends West Carteret High School
